In this blog post I will discuss how to respond to your situation and the 6 steps you need to take to gain success in your business.
Whatever situation you are in regardless if it is good or bad there are 3 ways you can respond. You can React, Respond or Initiate.
Reacting does not take any thought, it is a pure emotion. Acting on your emotion on impulse is not a wise move. In the real world people everywhere are going to jail simply for reacting to a situation. Reacting takes very little thought.
Responding takes a bit more effort and a bit more thought. Some responses can be good but on the other hand it could lead the situation to a dead end. Responses are everywhere responses to emails, verbal responses, video responses etc. If you are going to make any response it needs to be well thought through. Initiating is the best of the 3. When I first started network marketing I was approached by a guru who closed my on a sale and I joined his organization. I brought a couple of people in but their marketing tactics just weren't right for me and didn't fit my personality. I was wasting time and not earning much money.
It was around this time that I came across online marketing. It popped out at me and I wanted to gain as much knowledge about it as possible. I spoke to the guru who was my up line about internet marketing and told him all about the new world I had come across online. He was shocked and told me that I needed to stick to his system and follow the organization marketing plans.
I was not happy with the system I wanted more. I decided to leave the company. I wanted to learn much more about online marketing. I could have reacted to the situation and gave him my opinion on the spot and let my emotions take control. I could have responded to him by staying with his system. Instead I chose to initiate my future by choosing my path of success and leaving the company to better myself. Fast forward a few years and I went on to set up my own online business and get it up and running online. This all happened because I chose not to settle with the network marketing organizations plans. I chose to initiate and create my own business. Every person has different ways to initiate some build their own blog, others will create their own products, and some people chose to quit their jobs to take new directions in their careers. It's important to know in any situation NO CHANGE will take place until you take the lead and initiate!
You may not know how to take that step and initiate or where to begin. I recommend that you look at the leaders in your chose industry. How can you do what they are doing? You may need a mentor to help you get started. We all need mentors. You just need to take the first step to initiate and success will follow.
Now onto the 6 steps to help you to initiate your future:
Step Number 1:
Analyze your situation that you are currently in. Are you satisfied with where you are in your business?
Step Number 2:
If the answer to step number 1 is no the where do you want to be and what do you want your business to be like? Visualize what you want to be like and where you want your business to be heading.
Step Number 3:
Write down clear and measurable goals and targets for your business. Make sure the goals are clear and very specific. A goal that is not so strong is "I want more sign ups". A better example is "I want to have 10 opt-ins per day to my auto responder, within 3 months of implementing my tactics". Can you see how the second goal is much more effective as it is more detailed and has a time frame to complete the goal?
Step Number 4:
Once you have your goals in place you need to set up a plan. What steps are you going to take to get to your goal? You need to write all this down and put it in a place where you will read it over and over.
Step Number 5:
INITIATE! Start working on your plan and make a change! The initiate pare comes when you break off from something you are doing. Break the situation and start making things happen.
Step Number 6:
Once you begin working on your written plan then you should start to see a change. Things should start taking off and you should see a difference.
Initiating is a 6 step progress and you shouldn't expect to see results over night. It takes time, hard work, and effort. But believe me it will pay off. If you are not satisfied with your current situation then now is time to start initiating change.
